The idea of Wibis was born in January 2026. Creator @dissitam_ wanted to create something scalable, recognizable, and built as a brand down the line - not just a project thrown together for quick hype. Chibis came to mind, and giving them a crypto-focused twist - going for the win, for the W - just clicked.
Many hours were spent modeling the 3D character from scratch in Blender, refining it until it had a unique look while still being recognizable as a Chibi. After perfecting the model, 115 unique genesis NFT pieces were individually rendered for the first genesis drop.
